Pasta with Crumbled Sausage

Most times pasta will end up being tossed with the dressing or mixed with the sauce or other fixings, but this time the pasta will remain plain and the sausage will be placed as a topping and so the 2 food items will be more separate and you can fix your own bite as you like.
Try using whole grain pasta, as it is more nutritious.

A 3 ingredients meal:
1/2 lb sausage
1/4 cup to 1/2 cup tomato sauce or pasta sauce
1 handful of spaghetti per person

Directions:
Bring water to a boil in a pot or saucepan and salt it.
Put the pasta in and let it come to a boil.

Boil for 7 or 9 minutes or more depending on the type of pasta you chose to use.

Drain.

While the pasta is boiling, cook the sausage.
Use a potato masher or a plastic spoon to break up the sausage chunk.

Stir very often

and when almost done, add the tomato paste

and bring to a boil.

Plate the pasta and top with the sausage.

Enjoy !
